A change in perspective in Adams Morgan

The new condos at Adams Mill and Colombia are changing the entire look of Adams Morgan's major Intersection. Photos show view from 18th. The space was previously occupied by a gas station.

Tennessee State Reps. Justin Jones and Justin Pearson were removed from the legislature because they are Black and liberal. This is racism and bigotry in all its ugliness. This is joined by the Supreme Court, which allows voting suppression to flourish again. I can't believe the path this nation is on. I just can't. But then, when you peel back the covers a little, you find the racism and blind hatred that has always been a part of this country has never disappeared until the Republicans unleashed it. It should be clear why participation in the political process matters. In DC, that usually isn't an issue. Our problem is we are denied representation in Congress, and our local laws exist at the pleasure of Congress. Something has to change.
